Prune D’Agen

D’Agen Prune

D’Agen is considered to be the best clingstone prune for drying.  It bears small, oval fruit with shiny, dark purple skin which ripens from early February.  The flesh is meaty and greenish-yellow with a very good, sweet taste and firm texture and can also be eaten fresh.  The tree is moderately vigorous with an upright growth habit and it bears prolifically.  D’Agen is self-pollinating.
