Westringia-fruiticosa is a hardy, evergreen shrub with grey-green, needle-like leaves, similar to those of rosemary. Small, lilac-blue or white flowers are borne in spring and summer. The standard version looks really lovely in beds and in containers on patios, verandas and balconies.
