Pomegranate ‘Parfianka’

Parfianka Pomegranate

The Parfianka Pomegranate – botanical name, Punica granatum cultivar “PARFIANKA” – produces medium to large sized, attractive bright red fruit of good quality with deep red arils that are deep red in colour, the seeds are small, very soft and chewable. It has an excellent sweet, slightly tangy taste and superb flavour.

It is a vigorous grower with very good, consistent production and is excellent for eating and juicing.

Pomegranates do very well in Mediterranean type environments. They are sensitive to wind. Tolerant of moderate frost only. Older, well-established plants will tolerate heavy frost for short periods of time. They have shallow, spreading roots making for great small garden trees.
