Viburnum odoratissimum (sinensis) is fast-growing, evergreen, hardy shrub that lends itself perfectly to hedges, screens, windbreaks and creating garden rooms for privacy. It’s greatest asset is its leaves that are bright green and glossy and look good all year round. It bears bunches of white flowers in spring and early summer, followed by red berries. They can also be topiarised and planted in pots.
