A reasonably hardy indigenous fern that naturally occurs in dune forests and dune scrub. The light green, leathery fronds are deeply lobed and textured with the spore clusters clearly visible on the underside – altogether a very interesting looking fern. Use as groundcover under trees or as filler in lightly shaded spots in the garden. It is a good specimen for vertical gardens and will do well in pots and hanging baskets on shady patios and balconies as well as indoors.
