Mentha requienii

Corsican Mint / Rock Mint

A very small-leaved member of the mint family, Corsican mint is an old garden favourite.  The leaves have a wonderful aroma and it is very effective if planted between pavers where the fragrance can be released underfoot.  It is a fast grower and does well in moist areas in the garden, like water gardens and ponds as well as in pots.  Tiny, purple-blue flowers appear in summer.
