Withania somnifera is a powerful super herb, Ashwaganda is a straggly, upright growing, woody perennial with hairy grey-green leaves.  Smallish green flowers are followed by red berries during the warmer months of the year. It is fast growing, easy to maintain and very adaptable.  Its fleshy thick roots have a pungent smell and, like the leaves, are used medicinally in so many ways.  The leaves are used as a tea and the roots are grinded into a powder.

Care Tips 

• ☀️ Light: Full sun to partial shade.
• 💧 Water: Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry slightly between watering.
• 🌱 Soil: Use well-draining, moderately fertile soil.
