Thunbergia Alata is hardy, twinning climbing perennial produces masses of colourful, trumpet-shaped flowers with a dark, purple-brown tube and heart-shaped evergreen leaves. It is a multifunctional plant – that’s the beauty of it. It can be used as a groundcover, to cover a fence, climb a trellis, to tumble over a terraced wall or out of a hanging basket.
