Butterfly Blue Pincushion Flower

A compact, clump-forming perennial , well-loved for its most prolific flowering and extended flowering season when it is covered in a profusion of lavender-blue pincushion flowers from late spring until late autumn.  Because of its low growth habit it is ideal as a groundcover in the front of beds and borders and as edging along paths.  ‘Butterfly Blue’ is also stunning grouped or en masse in beds and rockeries and equally lovely in pots on sunny patios and balconies.
