A lush, leafy sage with showy, vibrant dark blue flowers, emerging from black calyxes carried on slender, black stems. When crushed, the leaves release a soft anise scent. This easy and fast-growing perennial starts flowering in late spring right through to early winter. It is quite bushy and is fantastic in beds and borders, as well as pots.
