The Germiston Gold Rose was named in honour of the centenary year of Germiston in 1986. Producing classic hybrid tea shaped yellow blooms with a moderate fragrance, the deep yellow colour holds well in the sun, without blemish on both sides of its 30 petals. This is a rose shrub that grows to about hip height and is excellent in garden beds and as cut flowers.
