An evergreen, medium-sized shrub with a neat, rounded shape and dark green, shiny leathery foliage that has a lovely red colour when the new foliage appears in spring. The shrub is covered in beautiful light pink flowers from mid-August until late spring. It is an excellent garden specimen, but looks equally great in pots. Rhaphiolepis is also ideal for a formal or informal hedge or screen.
