A very popular small evergreen tree or large shrub, loved for its dainty bright green foliage, set off by its dark, almost black stems and branches.  Pittosporums will suit all gardens and garden styles where they lend texture and elegance without needing a lot of attention.  They have a very tidy growth habit and are very suitable for small gardens.  Grow them as backgrounds in shrub borders or as hedges or screens. The can also be successfully grown in containers.
