Van Riebeeck is a white dessert, freestone peach with medium sized round fruit, heavily blushed with red. The flesh is creamy white with red around the pip. It has a very good, juicy, sweet taste and fine melting texture and is well suited for fresh consumption. Fruit ripens from mid-December. The tree is a vigorous grower with a semi-upright habit and is very productive and heavy bearing.
