Oom Sarel Peach

South Africa’s most popular peach!  Oom Sarel is a yellow clingstone peach with large, round fruits that turn golden yellow when ripe.  The skin is smooth and hairy and the flesh dark yellow and tasty with a fine, firm texture.  The large, fat fruits ripen from mid-December and is great for cooking, baking, canning and drying – a super all-rounder!  The tree is a strong, vigorous grower and very good bearer with a spreading habit.
