A South African heirloom peach! Kakamas is a yellow clingstone peach that bears medium to large fruit with yellow hairy skin. The flesh is golden yellow with a firm texture and fine taste. The fruit ripens from February and is used mainly for canning or fresh consumption. The tree has a strong spreading habit and is adaptable to varying soil conditions.
