Passiflora Edulis is a fast-growing and robust perennial vine with the characteristic striking solitary white and violet flowers of the granadilla plant. The deliciously edible purple-black fruit has a high pulp content with an acid-sweet flavour. The plant will start producing fruits 5-7 months after planting and will flower in spring for a summer crop. The vine will need a strong support or trellis to grow up on.
