A vigorous shrubby, spreading perennial with soft aromatic leaves covered in silver-grey hairs. In mid-summer it is covered in tiny yellow, honey-scented flowers. Use it in rockeries and borders, as hedges or in pots and hanging baskets. It is still used as medicinal plant to treat respiratory ailments.
