Grape ‘Catawba’

Catawba Grape

The Catawba grape produces small round grapes with dark purple slipskin and a sweet sour taste.  The fruit ripens from January to early March and should only be picked when fully ripe. It can be used as a table grape or for making wine.  Catawba is a very strong and fast growing variety with excellent resistance to diseases and pests.  It is very well suited to summer rainfall areas.
