Citrus Sweet Orange

Sweet Orange ‘Citrus sinensis’

These are the most commonly produced oranges and it is known for its sweet fruit. It has glossy leathery dark green foliage and bears clusters of white flowers.  The fruit is ripe when the skin on the fruit is orange. They can tolerate light frost but younger trees should be covered during winter with a frost cover.
