The tree produces small, round, juicy variegated fruits which contains a few seeds at full maturity and small leaves that are dense, giving the tree a fine textual appearance. It is primarily planted as an ornamental shrub and makes an excellent container plant, the sweetly scented flowers make the shrub have a more decorative appeal of the trees.
