Chamelaucium Hybrids

Geraldton Wax

An evergreen shrub, covered in needle-like leaves, the Geraldton Wax plant is not indigenous to South Africa, but perfectly complements our beautiful fynbos.  It can be used as a low hedge or screen or in beds and borders.  Some of the more compact varieties are absolutely stunning in pots.  The newer hybrids are more tolerant of a variety of climatic conditions and offer a wider range of colours.  Blooming time is also longer and from late winter into early summer these Chamelaucium hybrids are covered in billows of flowers that just love to be picked for the vase!
