The Calathea rufibarba is a member of the prayer plant family. This fuzzy houseplant has attractive feather-shaped foliage green in colour and waxy on the top with deep purple and furry on the underside, bright red stems. Very easy to maintain and idea for occasional forays onto a sheltered porch or patio setting during spring and summertime.
