An unusually beautiful and graceful palm with a large, swollen base and thin stem from which clusters of narrow, ribbon-like recurved leaves droop in a fountain-like fashion. Plant them individually or grouped in pots indoors, on the patio, around the swimming pool or in rockeries and beds the garden.
