Avocado ‘Hass’

The Hass avocado is the most popular and well know variety worldwide – for good reason as it is also the most delicious!  The tree has a rounded, compact growth habit and bears small to medium sized fruit with a distinctive rough, bumpy skin that turns dark purple to black when ripe.  The fruit ripens from May to late October and has a rich, flavourful and nutty taste with a high oil content.  Hass is a self-pollinating avocado type.
