The fruit of Cape Bebeco is of excellent eating quality. This freestone apricot produces large, oval fruits with dark yellow skin, slightly blushed with red. The flesh is dark yellow with a melting texture. Fruit ripens from early December and is excellent for fresh eating, canning and drying. The tree is a semi-vigorous grower with a semi-upright habit and very good production.
