Golden Delicious produces medium-sized apples that are very tasty, juicy and sweet with a strong aroma. The skin turns golden yellow when it ripens form late February into March. It is one of the best eating varieties. The tree is and upright, compact and vigorous grower and smaller than other varieties which makes it an ideal specimen for smaller home gardens. Cross pollinate with ‘Granny Smith’ or ‘Early Red One’.
