Pondo Waterwood

It is a slow-growing, shrub or small tree that bears white, powder-puff flowers in summer (loved by bees and other pollinators), followed by edible, purple berries (loved by birds). It can be pruned to form a hedge, topiary or lollipop.  Use it as an ornamental shrub in the garden and even in wet sites.  It is also very attractive in containers.
