Vachellia karoo (formerly Acacia karroo) is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree. It is easily recognizable by its small, golden-yellow, ball-shaped flowers that bloom mainly in spring and summer. They are sweetly scented and attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, and feathery, finely divided leaves that give the tree a soft, airy appearance. Its versatility allows the tree to be planted in a wide range of environments.
